<p>Department</p> <p>Centralized Clinical Services</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Welcome to First Physicians Group!</p> <p>We are currently hiring PRN float staff to work as needed at various FPG Provider Office locations in the Sarasota and Venice areas.</p> <ul> <li>Must be available to work a mimimum of 4 shifts a month. </li><li>PRN positions are set pay rates: </li><li>Clinical Care Coordinator I - Medical Assistant = $21.50/hr </li><li>Clinical Coordinator II - LPN = $25.00/hr </li><li>Clinical Care Coordinator III - RN = $33.00 </li></ul> <p>Provider offices are located in Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice Areas areas with various provider services:</p> <ul> <li>Family Practice </li><li>Pediatrics </li><li>Internal Medicine </li><li>ENT (ear nose and throat) </li><li>GI </li><li>OB/Gyn </li><li>Neurology </li><li>Endocrinology </li><li>Laryngology </li><li>Pulmonology </li><li>Cardiology </li><li>Urology </li><li>Please note that once you apply - you will be sent a clinical assessment that is required to complete online. You will receive an email with instructions. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Medical Assistant Requirements (Clinical Care Coordinator I): </li></ul> <p>Requires current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by:</p> <ul> <li>American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), </li><li>National Healthcare Association (NHA) </li><li>National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) </li></ul> <p>OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by:</p> <ul> <li>American Medical Technologists (AMT) </li><li>Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) </li><li>National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT. </li></ul> <p>Note: Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire.</p> <p>Test for certification may be beyond the six (6) month date.</p> <p>Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.</p> <ul> <li>LPN (Clinical Care Coordinator II): </li><li>Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. </li><li>LPN License (FL) </li><li>RN (Clinical Care Coordinator III): </li><li>Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. </li><li>Require a minimum of one (1) year of clinical practice experience in a medical/physician office setting. </li><li>RN license (FL) </li></ul> <p>Required License and Certs</p> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions) </li><li>We accept BLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. </li><li>Shifts are available Monday - Friday. </li><li>Day shift: 8AM - 5PM (start and end times may vary at each office). </li><li>8 hour shifts. </li><li>No weekend or Holidays. </li></ul> <p>Employment Screening Requirements</p> <p>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p>
