<p>Job#: 3021203</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Apex Systems is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to work onsite in Kings Point, NY for 3+ days per week.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze and maintain networks. </li><li>Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN/DMZ/Wireless networks and related services. </li><li>Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems. </li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks, applications and appliances. </li><li>Design, plan, establish, and optimize wireless networks. </li><li>Firewall and VPN configuration, management, and analysis </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of experience </li><li>Minimum one of the following certifications; CCNA or CCNP, ITIL v3 certification </li><li>Hands on experience in a structured environment implementing and administrating network devices, setting and maintaining policies </li><li>Experience in configuring Cisco switches and routers </li><li>Experience in Aruba's architecture that includes Wireless and Network Access Control. </li><li>Knowledge of Nutanix Prism, Acropolis hypervisor management </li><li>Working experience in government environment utilizing NIST and FISMA. </li><li>Network access security tools experience </li><li>MS Server Active Directory and Group Policy Management experience </li><li>PowerShell scripting and implementation skills </li><li>Experience with Level 2 and Level 3 resolution in a Windows Server and Win 11 environment. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation </li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis and network optimization skills </li><li>Team player; willing and able to drive collaborative efforts across the organization to improve product quality, reduce expense, and increase productivity </li></ul> <p>PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.</p> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
