<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Lebermuth Company is currently looking for a Sample Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. Our commitment to excellence is evident in our personal touch, sustainable practices, and customer-centric approach.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>As a Sample Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating all Lebermuth's sample operation, including fulfillment, packaging, and shipment of fragrance, flavor, and essential oil samples to customers in a timely manner. Maintain inventory for samples and sample packaging materials. Adhere to SQF standards.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Pick sample orders from the system and confirm orders when they are complete; print picking slips as verification of orders-in-process and orders completed </li><li>Print packing slips, and include regulatory documentation, as requested </li><li>Follow all safety, DEA and HazMat guidelines, including the separation of air shipments from ground shipments </li><li>Obtain materials from sample and warehouse inventory, and fill the appropriate size containers with requested items </li><li>Utilize packaging materials and necessary safeguards (i.e. shrink wrap, peanuts, properly sealing containers) in preparing samples for shipment, in order to minimize risk of damage during delivery </li><li>Print product labels and correctly affix to bottles </li><li>Ensure customer order requests are fulfilled in a timely manner; maintain communication with Customer Service and Sales to provide status updates, as needed </li><li>Coordinate with Lab and Sales departments to establish an order of priority for sample orders </li><li>Maintain adequate inventory and supplies, updating the system to delete old inventory and assign location numbers in the system for new inventory </li><li>Submit compounding requests to the Creative Lab, as needed, to create oils that are necessary to fulfill sample orders; follow up with the Lab on the status of sample requests, as necessary </li><li>Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving, as needed, depending on sample order shipment requirements </li><li>Provide sample shipment order paperwork to Accounting for proper invoicing </li><li>Become familiar with Creative Lab, QC, and production processes to consistently meet the demands of sample fulfillment </li><li>Cross train in Shipper role, fill in as backup when needed </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area </li><li>Continually strive to promote a safe food culture, ensuring the production and shipment of safe quality food products </li><li>Other duties, as assigned </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <p>This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One (1) year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior shipping experience is preferred.</p> <p>Language Skills: Ability to communicate and receive information in both verbal and written formats. Ability to read and understand documents such as picking and packing slips, safety rules, memos, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).</p> <p>Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Basic understanding of proportions and volume. Ability to recognize and follow alpha and numeric sequences.</p> <p>Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization is sometimes limited. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written or oral form.</p> <p>Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer and keyboard functions.
