<p>Overview</p> <p>Position: Occupational Therapist Hand Therapist - Outpatient</p> <p>Location: 1940 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL</p> <p>Schedule: PRN Mon - Fri</p> <p>Salary: $45/hr - $50/hr</p> <p>Our outpatient orthopedic team is seeking an occupational therapist to join us in providing quality patient care. Hand experience required, 1+ years of OP experience required. Join our team treating various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprain, strains, post-operative fractures, etc. Splinting experience preferred. Best practices and evidence-based programs are utilized for individualized patient care.</p> <p>Our locations are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post surgical, non-operative to work conditioning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with excellent hand surgeons. If you are looking for a stable company with an ACTIVE, GROWING and THRIVING national Hand Therapy program, please apply immediately!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). </li><li>Build Relationships: Enhance, develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients. </li><li>Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician. </li><li>High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how OTs may practice and whom they may supervise. </li><li>Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines. </li><li>Leadership: Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations. </li><li>Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and demonstrate completion of patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements in an appropriate and timely manner. </li><li></li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy </li><li>State Occupational Therapist license (or license eligible) </li><li>Minimum 1 years hand therapy experience. </li><li>CPR certification </li><li>Valid state driver's license </li></ul> <p>Additional Data</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</p> <p>Part Time/PRN Perks:</p> <ul> <li>Continuing Education: Free in-person and online CEUs to keep learning </li><li>Career Growth: Access to a nationwide, professional support network </li><li>401(k): Company matching 401(k) after 1,000 hours in a calendar year </li></ul>
