AmeriFence Corporation of Minnesota is looking for a hardworking, dependable and detail-oriented Yard Operations & Inventory Specialist to join our team in the materials yard. Our Inventory Specialists operate heavy equipment to load, unload, and organize building materials for wholesale orders and distribution for company jobs. They also assist with inventory and attend to customers and company staff in yard operations, all while maintaining a safe and tidy working environment. This is a full-time, M-F, day shift position.</p> <p>A valid driver's license and clean driving are record required; CDL preferred. AmeriFence Corporation is a drug-free workplace. All candidates offered employment must successfully complete criminal background and drug screening, in accordance with federal and local laws and regulations.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Using forklifts and skid steers, load and unload trucks with fencing materials. </li><li>Maintain the yard to ensure materials are properly organized and stored. </li><li>Attend to company staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner. </li><li>Assist with inventory counts and tracking of materials and immediately report shortages. </li><li>Perform general yard maintenance, including cleanup and minor repairs. </li><li>Safely operate equipment and follow all company safety protocols. </li><li>Help with deliveries or other tasks as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience operating a forklift and skid steer </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds </li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions </li><li>Strong work ethic and attention to detail </li><li>Previous experience with inventory management systems and practices </li><li>Familiarity with inventory management systems and supply chain processes to optimize material flow from suppliers to the yard </li><li>Must be customer service oriented </li><li>Valid driver's license with clean driving record required (CDL a plus!) </li></ul>
