Salary range: $18.23/hour to $20.01/hour, depending on experience level.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist kindergarten teacher with classroom needs, working with young children ? Assist with organization of classroom materials and supplies </li><li>Assist with preparing instructional materials for student activities </li><li>Work with young children in small groups </li><li>Respect the confidentiality of student information and not discuss them outside of the classroom </li><li>Handout papers, crafts that go home with the students </li><li>Refer all parent concerns and questions about any student's progress to the teacher </li><li>Escort students from classroom to other classes such as Gym, Music, Art, Library </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or evidence of having passed the Para-Pro Assessment </li><li>Ability to communicate and interact with young children in a positive manner, with sensitivity to their needs </li><li>Good organizational skills </li><li>Flexibility </li><li>A sense of humor </li></ul> <p>Applications will only be accepted online at the district Web site: www.er9.org and must include:</p> <ul> <li>A formal letter of application addressed to Kimberly Fox Santora, Principal ?
