<p>The Team</p> <p>The Brand Design group is an in-house creative team - part of the Marketing Department - that services all internal constituents of Datadog, including the Events, Demand Generation, Communications and Partnership functions. The group is composed of 20+ Designers and Illustrators that deliver a wide range of projects such as ad campaigns, web design, event branding and signage, reports and e-books, etc.</p> <p>The Brand Design team is a close-knit group that shares a passion for our craft, supported by a culture that sees design as an integral part of Datadog's success. Check out our work!</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>We're seeking a talented, energetic, and self-motivated Senior Graphic Designer to contribute to the visual evolution of our brand design systems, aligning Datadog's visual identity across all promotional touch points, with an emphasis on events (B2C, B2B, tradeshows, etc.)</p> <p>You will be a part of the Brand Design team, creating designs across a wide array of Marketing assets in collaboration with teams throughout Datadog.</p> <p>Within the Brand Design team, you will report to a Group Manager while collaborating with other designers and illustrators. You will be instrumental in creating and presenting concepts, and building innovative brand systems ready for application.</p> <p>At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Conceptualize and evolve our design systems to maintain a cohesive, engaging user or client experience </li><li>Promote consistency and quality across design elements, ensuring they follow our design principles and brand guidelines </li><li>Design and produce branded physical environments for events of all sizes, including custom signage, structures, turnkey booths, branded collateral, and interactive installations, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints and delivering print-ready files on time. </li><li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with creative and production vendors while collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline execution and ensure high-quality outcomes. </li><li>Assist with the design and production of visual materials used for marketing and communications, including digital ad campaigns, layout design, web design for landing pages/microsites and typesetting for reports, icons and diagrams </li><li>Skillfully incorporate direction from Group Managers, Art Directors and Creative Director into finished design work </li><li>Ensure that creative deliverables support the project briefs and are completed on deadline </li></ul> <p>Who You Are:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or professional equivalent </li><li>4+ years of experience in Graphic Design, with a proven track record of managing large-scale events at a creative agency or in-house creative department </li><li>Strong experience in branding and design systems </li><li>Strong experience in leading the branding of large-scale events: </li><li>Art-directing concepts and creating brand systems </li><li>Project-managing the production of assets (environmental and directional signage, information signage, booth design, stage and keynote, digital promotional assets, etc.) </li><li>Experience in conducting site visits and recommending optimal signage plans to enhance the attendee experience, as well as supervising event setup and execution. </li><li>Experience in creating digital assets (social media posts, ad campaigns for demand generation, web design for landing pages) </li><li>Expert understanding of layout, typography and color theory. </li><li>Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications including, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign </li><li>Knowledge of Figma is a plus </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across all levels of the company </li><li>Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through </li><li>Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers, and know when to escalate to keep projects and process development moving forward. </li><li>Ability to take direction, work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, adaptable and able to embrace future changes </li></ul> <p>Datadog values people from all walks of life.
