<p>CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Business Analyst. Type: Contract Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Newton, NC Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Newton, NC Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Education: High School Diploma required Description: Support position to plan, organize, and control Supply Chain operations (Planning/Scheduling, Procurement, Packaging/Warehousing, and Materials Controls), optimizing utilization of HCP's equipment, materials, and manpower to provide premium customer service. This position will include a varying level of project work. Expect to participate in cross-functional teams within the plant and to enhance performance in areas such as manufacturing efficiency, supply chain operations, and customer service. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Use strong system skills, analytical abilities, and business knowledge to examine the effectiveness of manufacturing and supply chain operations and communicate conclusions • Determine scope of improvement projects; initiate and lead improvement projects as necessary • Develop reports and analysis for continuous improvement • Participate in new system implementation projects and initiatives within the Supply Chain department • Support packaging and warehouse activities, including process improvements in shipping/receiving, optimizing warehouse storage solutions, and improving packaging efficiencies • Create, modify, improve, and support business reports and queries for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functional groups • Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment; proactively report unsafe conditions • Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency of functions and systems Requirements: • Proven analytical and project management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects alongside daily responsibilities • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all functions and at all levels of the organization • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) • Willingness to work 6AM-2PM (hours may change based on business needs) Required Qualifications: Education: • High School Diploma (minimum requirement) Qualifications: • 2-5 years of supply chain experience preferred • Degree in Supply Chain or APICS certification preferred • Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence experience, training, or certification (Green Belt preferred) • Understanding of cable products, materials, and manufacturing processes • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP preferred) • Ability to thrive both autonomously and within a team environment • Adaptability to change and flexibility in dynamic work conditions • Demonstrated drive and commitment to organizational success Additional Information: • No third party resumes will be accepted • Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted • CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all applicable local, state, and federal laws • All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third-party vendors) • CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer • CTG is an E-Verify Company To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to Anisha.Muralidhar@ctg.com.
