Operating from the warehouse floor but working in conjunction with the corporate logistics team, this role is responsible for tracking and coordinating all aspects of intra- and inter-facility transportation, managing yard inventory visibility, and ensuring on-time truck performance. The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Coordinator is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers to maintain seamless logistics operations.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Transportation Coordination - Track and monitor transfer truck movements between warehouse locations. Ensure timely dispatch and arrival of all trucks. Assist in resolving delays or disruptions in truck schedules.• Yard and Inventory Visibility - Coordinate with yard jockeys and warehouse leads to ensure accuracy. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trailer/truck status in all warehouse yards.• Operational Support - Work closely with the Warehouse Supply Chain Coordinator to execute daily and long-term logistics strategies. Follow up on outstanding tasks or requests to ensure smooth transportation flow. Escalate and troubleshoot logistics issues promptly.• Performance Monitoring - Track and report on on-time performance (OTP) metrics for trucking partners. Monitor and record loading schedules and turnaround times. Identify recurring delays and suggest improvements.• Communication & Collaboration - Serve as the communication link between the warehouse team and corporate logistics. Liaise with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to align priorities. Ensure all stakeholders are informed of truck locations, schedules, and changes.• Documentation & Compliance - Maintain accurate dispatch logs, yard checklists, and transportation schedules. Ensure all paperwork related to truck movement and yard inventory is complete and compliant with company policy. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <p>As assigned by the Supply Chain Manager</p> <p>Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in warehouse operations, dispatch, or logistics coordination required.• Strong understanding of transportation processes and warehouse product flow• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (WMS).• Comfortable working on-site in a warehouse setting. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or 5 years' experience in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline. </li></ul> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required.</p> <p>Physical Environment/Occupational Risks</p> <p>Warehouse Environment</p> <p>B&H is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity</p>
