<p>SAFY is seeking a part-time Transportation Aide for our Cincinnati division in Ohio working 25 hours or less per week.</p> <p>As a Transportation Aide, you will be responsible for accompanying clients/youth for transportation needs. You will provide essential support for clients/youth with mental, physical, or emotional needs that may require attention during transit. Will work alongside SAFY and divisional leadership to ensure a safe, supportive, and calm environment for all passengers during their transportation needs.</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>At SAFY, our mission is Preserving Families & Securing Futures. We are a team of 500 employees across seven states providing services such as Family Preservation & Reunification, Behavioral Health, Therapeutic Foster Care, Adoption Services and Older Youth Services so the families and children we serve can build resilience and thrive.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Transports clients/youth to and from designated areas using proper transportation equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Must ensure clients/youth are safely secured in their car seats/boosters or using a seat belt.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows established safety protocols and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Assist patients in and out of vehicles and ensure their safety during transport.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle used for transport.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors and reports any concerns or incidents by communicating effectively with SAFY leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and assist students with mental, physical, or emotional challenges.</p> </li><li> <p>Address and de-escalate any issues that may arise during transport.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide a caring, respectful, and safe environment for all passengers.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all required documentation and travel logs.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of SAFY staff by participating in required meetings or events.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a supportive and positive working relationship with youth, foster parents, referring agencies, and other SAFY stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Meets regularly with supervisor to discuss issues and performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned by supervisor.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <p>We are looking for people from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are inspired by our noble mission to make a difference in the lives of the children and families in our care.
