<p>The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in driving and supporting the delivery of comprehensive HR services and solutions for Scoular's Feed Ingredients and Corporate teams. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, addressing employee relations, talent development, staffing needs, compensation management, and policy guidance. Reporting to the HR Business Partner of the division, the HRBP acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders on employment activities and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is instrumental in fostering a proactive HR business partnering culture, focusing on employee relations, company culture, employee engagement, workforce planning, performance management, HR compliance, and more.</p> <ul> <li>In support of strategic objectives, consults with leaders to resolve diverse business issues </li><li>Provide expertise in conducting internal investigations and bring employment relation issues to resolution </li><li>Resolves moderately complex issues related to the interpretation and application of HR programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations </li><li>Provide consult to business leaders regarding performance management, disciplinary action and terminations. </li><li>Analyze and present risk factors to business leaders when taking employment actions. Ensure appropriate processes are followed and compliance requirements with local regulations are met </li><li>Collaborate with HR Operations and HR Center of Excellence teams to ensure consistency and alignment in HR processes while bringing a continuous improvement mindset to the work </li><li>Provide comprehensive HR support to foster retention, drive consistency and enhance the employee experience being a part of the Scoular team. Employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, employee onboarding, change management, talent development, safety, compliance and more </li><li>Implement initiatives in partnership with division managers in support of the organization's strategic objectives. </li><li>Partners with managers and team members in career planning and development to grow and develop a motivated, trained, and engaged workforce to meet current and future business needs </li><li>Partners with HR Business Partner in merger and acquisition preparation and reduction in force processes </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of business trends and translate to proactive solutions that help drive business initiatives forward </li><li>Utilize reporting and data analytics to create visibility to current and historical trends with high degree of accuracy </li><li>Partner with Talent Acquisition team to support managers' local hiring and staffing needs across the Division teams. This includes updating and drafting job descriptions, posting language, coaching on interview best practices, compensation review and onboarding activities </li><li>With guidance from HR Business Partner, work with business leaders on incentive planning and compensation analysis to drive a pay for performance culture </li><li>Develop relationships with leaders and employees to facilitate and promote an environment that attracts and retains diverse talent </li><li>Foster and champion company culture and ensure an inclusive approach to employee engagement and recognition </li><li>Collaboratively develop and execute other HR projects and initiatives as needed to support overall business strategies </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of broad human resources programs and processes and basic U.S. employment law </li><li>College degree in business related field or equivalent experience </li><li>Demonstrated 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 4 years of specific employee relations experience </li><li>Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality of employee information </li><li>Strong customer service orientation and service leadership </li><li>Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and employees </li><li>Proficient in establishing accurate metrics, analyzing data, anticipating trends, and making informed decisions </li><li>Strong conflict resolution skills and demonstrated business acumen </li><li>Excellent time management skills, strong detail orientation and a proven ability to meet deadlines </li><li>Capable of performing in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a remote team </li><li>Independent problem-solver with proactive research and solution skills </li><li>Effective collaborator within and outside of HR, contributing to a larger team </li><li>Excellent communication skills, including oral and written communications and presentation skills </li><li>Ability to travel is required, approximately 20% </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Agribusiness or Manufacturing industry experience </li><li>Experience working in both a corporate and production facility environments </li><li>Post-secondary degree in human resources or related discipline </li><li>Basic knowledge of Mexico and Canada employment law </li><li>PHR or SHRM professional designation </li></ul> <p>#LI-HS1</p>
