<p>Overview</p> <p>Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a skilled Senior HVAC Mechanic to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for property HVAC systems and /or equipment in accordance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Provides expert level oversight to all projects and responsible for maintaining property systems at peak operating efficiency. This position is located in our Avon, MA store and has a schedule of Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. If you're passionate about HVAC systems and have the expertise to match, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>Why you will love Jordan's Furniture:</p> <ul> <li>Great Benefits - medical, dental, vision and more! </li><li>Weekly Pay </li><li>Unique Culture </li><li>Employee Discount </li></ul> <p>Why you will love this job:</p> <ul> <li>Team atmosphere - We're all family here! </li><li>Fast paced physical environment </li><li>Stable work environment </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities we trust you to perform:</p> <ul> <li>Performs expert level maintenance and repair on HVAC systems and equipment at all locations asrequired </li><li>Supervises inspections on HVAC systems and components (e.g., heating units, building exhaust fans,ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventativemaintenance in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations </li><li>Oversees installation of HVAC equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities </li><li>Monitors repairs on HVAC systems and/or components (e.g., pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.) </li><li>Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs </li><li>Tracks performance of routine and preventative maintenance to ensure the availability of HVAC systems </li><li>Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with building and safety regulations </li><li>Performs additional duties to include, but not limited to working independently to repair, maintain and assists with the installation of electrical, fire alarm, HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations </li><li>Maintains vehicles, tools and equipment serviceability statuses </li><li>Performs additional duties to include, but not limited to working independently to repair, maintain and assists with the installation of electrical, fire alarm, HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations </li><li>Locates and identifies building HVAC system malfunctions; troubleshoots and works from blueprints, drawings, and layouts or other specifications </li><li>Creates reports and updates computerized ticketing system with status of work completed </li><li>Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards and Jordan's safety protocols </li><li>Performs building HVAC construction/renovations as needed </li><li>Participates in the acquisition of permits, licenses, and other related documents and ensures they remain current. </li><li>Maintain license update with renewal and keeps up to date with applicable state changes </li><li>Travel to other locations as needed </li><li>Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>What you bring to the table:</p> <ul> <li>Requires 8+ or more years direct HVAC experience </li><li>Must possess and maintain current Refrigeration Technician License </li><li>Knowledge of Direct Digital Control Systems (DDC) and their components </li><li>Requires a high level skill set and comprehensive knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repairof HVAC systems </li><li>Ability to operate and update computerized ticketing system </li><li>Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English </li><li>Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to be able to drive to other locations to performwork duties </li><li>May be required to successfully fulfill D.O.T. certification </li></ul> <p>Happy, healthy employees are our goal, and our benefits help J-Team members balance physical, financial, professional, social and emotional well-being.
