<p>OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The Enrollment Manager reports directly to the Director, Enrollment and drives the recruitment & admissions processes with the goal of accurately and efficiently identifying and admitting young adults who are the best fit for Year Up's program. The Enrollment Manager will develop relationships and correspond with prospective students and steward interested applicants into our admissions process who are strongly aligned with our programmatic outcomes.</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization where you can leverage your relationship building and public speaking skills to draw highly qualified prospective students to the Year Up program. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess superior communication skills, skilled at relationship building, familiar with the local community, and enthusiastic about Year Up's mission.</p> <p>The Enrollment Manager will also have the opportunity to interact with students as a mentor, group facilitator, and advocate in building a positive educational environment.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Inquiry Response & Outreach</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the YU enrollment process. </li><li>Execute a high-volume communication strategy (via phone calls, SMS, and email) to convert prospective students into applicants, and applicants into enrolled students. </li><li>Ensure a positive and consistent student experience through standardized and centralized processes including welcome calls, application review, interview scheduling, and advising meetings </li><li>Manage local and national email and SMS inboxes and ensure timely communication </li><li>As needed, host information sessions for interested candidates and present compelling information about Year Up's program offerings </li><li>Oversee the implementation and monitor the success of the student ambassador program </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Interviewing & Student Assessment</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage high volume of interviews ranging from 20-25 weekly across multiple programs, models, and geographies </li><li>Conduct one-on-one interviews and psychosocial assessments with prospective students as part of the enrollment process </li><li>Drive collaboration and communication across divisional teams to ensure alignment with with student acceptance and onboarding </li><li>Create and manage the admissions calendar and ensure the implementation of all associated steps </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to every prospective student via phone and in-person </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Student Account Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage portfolio of accepted students from acceptance to enrollment; Responsible for onboarding of accepted students to meet enrollment targets track specialty </li><li>Facilitate student on-boarding and enrollment including outreach and onboarding events leading up to orientation </li><li>Support team with onboarding event management including onboarding meetings, pre-orientation, and orientation </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Database & Document Management</p> <ul> <li>Analyze and manage data to design and produce regular reports that track, document and measure recruitment & admissions progress; make appropriate recommendations for future initiatives based on program needs </li><li>Enter data, manage reports and ensure data integrity within Year Up's national database (Salesforce.com) </li><li>Develop proficiency in Salesforce.com report generation and usage to track recruitment statistics and inform improvements to the recruitment process </li><li>Track the weekly progress towards admissions & recruitment-related goals </li><li>Ensure proper usage of Year Up database and systems to ensure the most efficient storage of information and utilization of data </li></ul> <p>Partner Liaison (as applicable - will depend on individual site)</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a conduit between the college (enrollment and financial aid offices)/employer-based team and Year Up program staff </li><li>Manage day-to-day relationship(s) with the employer/college partner 's administration (enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, operations, human resources, project lead, etc.) to oversee on-site recruitment and ensure that enrollment and financial aid information is up-to-date </li><li>Ensure that all of the employer/college partner's enrollment objectives are integrated into project plans, data collection, and outcomes measurement </li></ul> <p>Site Team/Learning Community Member</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a coach/mentor for a small number of current students </li><li>Join and sometimes facilitate weekly group sessions with students </li><li>Participate in staff meetings and trainings </li></ul> <p>This position may require occasional attendance at weekend or evening events</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>2-4 years of professional experience preferred, preferably in recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and/or partnership development </li><li>Experience creating and managing social media campaigns to drive results </li><li>Pipeline management experience preferred </li><li>Previous customer service experience (cold calling experience a plus) </li><li>Community outreach and public speaking experience </li><li>Ability to assess student's social-emotional needs </li><li>A high level of detail-orientation, and an analytical focus on process </li><li>Effective communication skills with strong follow up </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to self-start </li><li>Ability to connect quickly and authentically with people </li><li>Experience managing and working with external stakeholders </li><li>Strong work ethic and positive attitude, with a willingness to be flexible </li><li>Professional and resourceful style with the ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Experience working with young, ethnically diverse populations </li><li>Evidence of cultural sensitivity in past employment and life experiences </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required </li><li>Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred </li><li>A passion for working with young adults, an unshakable belief in their potential and a strong commitment to the mission of Year Up </li><li>Understanding of the Opportunity Divide and its drivers </li><li>Commitment to diversity and inclusion </li></ul> <p>Salary Range- $55,000- $65,000</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p> <p>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Year Up United has established salary ranges for each of our sites, which allows us to pay employees competitively, equitably and consistently in different geographic markets. For roles in which the location is listed as flexible, the range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
