<p>Overview/Purpose:</p> <p>The Maintenance Lead Tech is responsible for daily direction of the maintenance craft persons on his/her assigned shift. This includes interfacing with operation leadership, following up on work performed and ensuring equipment is worked on to the assigned priority.</p> <p>Primary Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Act as a shift leader for general industrial maintenance troubleshooting & repairs (conveyors, statistical weighters, vertical baggers, etc.) </li><li>Provide guidance and support of electrical troubleshooting of Industrial Equipment (PLCs, Drives, Servos, 480V Motors, 24VDC Control Circuit, Labelers, Robotic Palletizers, Closed Loop Controls, etc.) </li><li>Assign daily work assignments for maintenance personnel </li><li>Provide guidance on Basic Fabrication (welding, milling, etc.) </li><li>Assign and audit completion of PMs (Preventive Maintenance) </li><li>Train other maintenance ee's as necessary </li><li>Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum two years' experience in a Maintenance Multi craft (electrical and mechanical) role in a manufacturing environment or related capacity </li><li>High School Diploma/GED with substantial experience in manufacturing maintenance and reliability required. </li><li>Associates' Degree in an engineering, technology or scientific related discipline is preferred. </li><li>Experience with CMMS Software required - (Computerized Maintenance Management System) </li><li>Experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment is preferred. </li><li>Work cooperatively in cross-functional teams to solve persistent downtime issues </li><li>Effective communication (both written and verbally) and interpersonal skills </li><li>Possess advanced computer literacy </li><li>Ability to work with all levels of employees and build effective working relationships </li><li>Understanding of basic principles of the SQF program and other food safety policies/procedures </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Primarily, manufacturing environment </li><li>Some exposure to fluorescent lights </li><li>Exposure to manufacturing equipment hazards, especially forklifts </li><li>Standing and walking on concrete floors </li><li>Frequently exposed to a variety of dust particles </li><li>Forklift Traffic </li><li>Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs </li></ul> <p>Potential Hazards:</p> <ul> <li>Bumping into & slipping </li><li>Being hit by falling objects </li><li>Bending, twisting, lifting </li><li>CTS candidate. </li><li>Slips, Twists and Falls </li></ul> <p>Hazards controls:</p> <ul> <li>Training on housekeeping issues and awareness of location. </li><li>Training in proper methods of lifting and load handling </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements/Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Hearing-ordinary conversation </li><li>Ability to verbally communicate to team & managers </li><li>Climbing stairs and ladders </li><li>Near & far vision acuity </li><li>Must participate in pulmonary screening </li><li>Stooping and bending </li><li>Walking </li><li>Sitting </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Hours: 8 hour shifts </li><li>Monday-Friday </li><li>Work Every 3rd Weekend </li></ul> <p>Travel:</p> <ul> <li>N/A </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>New starting wage is $40.50 / hour (commensurate with experience and location). *Note that rate could change based on shift schedule. </li><li>Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision Coverage </li><li>Flexible spending accounts </li><li>Disability coverage </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Critical illness and accident insurance </li><li>Legal and identity protection insurance </li><li>Pet insurance </li><li>Employee assistance program </li><li>Commuter benefits </li><li>Tuition assistance </li><li>Adoption assistance </li><li>401(k) </li><li>PTO </li><li>Parental Leave </li></ul> <p>Hain Celestial is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer.
