The Academy is currently seeking an Elementary Teacher with the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in education </li><li>State of Ohio teaching license or the willingness to complete courses to transfer another state licensure. </li><li>Ability to work with diverse groups </li><li>Computer skills for maintaining student records and reports </li><li>Strong communication skills both written and verbal </li></ul> <p>The elementary teacher is responsible for creating a safe, healthy learning environment that will support the social and emotional development of children. The teacher will plan and implement instructional content in a manner that meets the educational needs of students with varying abilities. The teacher will establish and maintain effective classroom control in a manner that allows students to remain constructively on task. The teacher will design and employ a variety of objective and consistent assessment techniques when evaluating learning or development.
