No If temporary (or grant funded) position, indicate ending date Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>The National Security and Intelligence Program and the Criminal Justice Program at Fairmont State University is currently recruiting candidates for a tenure-track assistant professor for the Bachelor of Arts degree in National Security Intelligence (NSI) and Bachelor of Sciences degree in Criminal Justice (CJ) for a Fall 2025 appointment.</p> <p>The successful candidate for this position will teach undergraduate courses in National Security, Intelligence Law, Criminal Justice and related courses and topics, as well as Introduction to American Government.</p> <p>The required teaching load is four classes per semester. Both programs are well-established and respected. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent, enthusiastic teaching and student advocacy; ability to work cooperatively and productively with faculty, staff and students; commitment to productivity and professional development; ability to use technology effectively in teaching, learning and assessment and active participation in department, college and community service.</p> <p>Minimum Required Education</p> <p>Requirements include a Ph.D. or a close to completion ABD in a relevant discipline. Candidates with a J.D. or M.S. and equivalent field and professional experience will also be considered. Candidates with a J.D. or M.
