<p>We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health!</p> <p>Organization:</p> <p>SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly the not-for-profit sector, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, due diligence, negotiation, and deal process management.</p> <p>Plays a critical role in shaping and advancing business development through execution of variety of strategic transactions including partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions (M&A), diversification, joint ventures, management agreements, and joint operating agreements.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's: Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field </li></ul> <p>TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>8 years recent relevant experience </li></ul> <p>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:</p> <ul> <li>Data financial analysis, database development and Microsoft Office and associated software. </li><li>Communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal; effective facilitation of group process and expertise in project management. </li><li>Knowledge of financial and statistical data analysis/reporting. </li><li>Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and laws. </li><li>Knowledge of medical staff relations, human resource management, change management. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with physicians, medical professionals, staff patients and the community. </li><li>Organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; ability to develop and conduct presentations to groups. </li><li>Ability to manage cross functional project teams. </li><li>Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with senior management and physicians. </li><li>Problem identification, analysis and resolution skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment and provide outstanding customer service. </li><li>Knowledge base regarding industry trends, including new technologies, reimbursement changes, changes in local competitor strategies, and national trends. </li></ul> <p>Strategic Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the strategy & business development team in advancing business development initiatives and growth opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare reports, presentations, and updates on transactions and strategic initiatives for senior leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and analyze industry trends and market conditions to inform opportunity assessments.</p> </li></ul> <p>M&A Support & Execution</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in evaluating potential M&A opportunities, including conducting market research and preliminary financial analyses.</p> </li><li> <p>Support due diligence processes by coordinating data requests, compiling findings, and analyzing operational/financial information.</p> </li><li> <p>Build and maintain financial models to support transaction evaluation and decision-making.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with senior team members on developing business cases and preparing materials for leadership and governance review.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate documentation and alignment with organizational standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Integration Coordination</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate post-acquisition transition activities in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and report on integration milestones and issues to support smooth execution.</p> </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with finance, HR, IT, compliance, and other departments to support standardized processes for partnership exploration and due diligence.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure timely information-sharing across teams to support efficient execution.</p> </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Engagement</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors/consultants.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the team professionally in partner meetings and due diligence sessions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Shift:</p> <p>Days</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Full Time</p> <p>Days of the Week:</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>Weekend Requirements:</p> <p>As Needed</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Unions:</p> <p>No</p> <p>Position Status:</p> <p>Exempt</p> <p>Weekly Hours:</p> <p>40</p> <p>Employee Status:</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.</p> <p>Pay Range is $126,256.00 to $189,384.00 / annual salary. Emeryville Pay Range is $143,478.40 to $215,217.60 / annual salary.</p> <p>The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.</p>
