<p>Senior Associate Director of Admissions POSITION DETAILS Located in the heart of Harlem, CCNY is the founding institution of the City University of New York system. Within the CCNY campus, the Admissions Office serves as a primary branch of the Enrollment Management (EM) Division, and promotes the recruitment and enrollment of new students to The City College of New York. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Senior Associate Director of Admissions will assume a leadership role in the overall operations of the Admissions Office, which manages many of the critical tasks related to student recruitment and onboarding. This position supervises Assistant Directors, Coordinators, Admissions Advisors, and College Assistants across recruitment, communications, operations, customer service, and transfer evaluation functions. Within the Admissions Office, the Senior Associate Director will be responsible for helping to increase the efficiency and interconnectedness of the various major areas, such as: Communications, Customer Service, Processing, Recruitment, and Transfer Credit Evaluations. External to the Admissions Office, the Senior Associate Director will have a similar responsibility in helping to better integrate Admissions operations with those of the various campus stakeholders that play a role in the student onboarding process and experience. The Senior Associate Director of Admissions supports operational continuity and escalates strategic matters to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions as appropriate. In additional the CUNY title Overview of duties, the tasks of the Senior Associate Director of Admissions include, but are not limited to: In additional the CUNY title Overview of duties, the tasks of the Senior Associate Director of Admissions include, but are not limited to: • Serve as the CCNY campus point person for the implementation of Slate Technolutions the newly selected university-wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with university guidance. • Administer all aspects of the Slate, including: access and training, general maintenance, inward and outward dataflows, and assistance with stakeholder implementation. • Maximize the usage of the Slate as a force multiplier by leveraging its automation capabilities, expanding and calibrating its dataset, and broadening its usage on campus to additional stakeholders. • Promote effective resource management by ensuring all Admissions operations are focused on data-driven results and outcomes. • Leads Admissions related data-integration initiatives and collaborates with campus stakeholders to streamline workflows between systems. • Manage the Admissions In-Person and Virtual Queues of the QLess Queue Management system, the Zoom based Virtual Front Desk, and the Admissions section of the "Benny Bot" chat bot. •Leads cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across recruitment, communications, processing, and onboarding. • Assist with procurement processing and budget management. • Support other initiatives as needed QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and six years' related experience required. Preferred Qualifications: • Expert-level knowledge and experience with managing and operating a CRM system. • A detailed understanding of the various areas/units that comprise an Admissions Office and how each impacts the other, as well as how admissions operations impact other Enrollment Management and stakeholder operations. • Familiarity with higher education technology systems such as Peoplesoft Student Information System (preferably CUNYfirst), EAB Navigate, Blackboard, and Degreeworks. • Experience with student recruitment, communications, and onboarding. • Strong working knowledge of CCNY and CUNY admission and academic requirements and policies. • Excellent public speaking, written communication, and interpersonal skills. • Experience with management of staff and working with stakeholders at all leadership levels. • Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to support recruitment and enrollment strategy. CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW Manages on- and off-campus recruiting activities at a College or unit. - Develops and implements marketing strategies and recruitment initiatives - Manages one or more teams of admissions/recruiting staff, providing supervision, training, and development - Manages application review processes - Maintains relationships with selected academic divisions/departments to coordinate recruiting efforts - Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness of enrollment, recruitment, and marketing strategies - Performs related duties as assigned. Job Title Name: Admissions Manager CUNY TITLE Higher Education Associate FLSA Exempt COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Salary Range: $102,408 - $113,982. Salary commensurate with education and experience. CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
