<p>WEWS, the Scripps ABC affiliate in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a skilled Studio Technician II to join our dynamic production team! This is a part-time, onsite role where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of technical equipment and services during live and taped programs. If you're passionate about broadcast technology and thrive in a fast-paced studio environment, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure studio is prepared and set-ups are complete; assign and set-up mics for on-air talent and conduct mic checks; coordinate studio position/placement for live shows; operate tele-prompter and cameras during live and taped shows.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate of various technical equipment including, but not limited to, graphics systems, VizRt and Newsticker. Perform audio mixing, coordinate satellite feeds and monitor usage/charging systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist technical director with trouble-shooting technical problems and effectively resolves/removes roadblocks as they occur during production in the studio.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Specialized training/certification may be required</p> </li><li> <p>Generally, 2+ years of experience in related field preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL BRING:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Successfully performed related duties of Studio Tech I for up to one year</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate knowledge of technical systems and floor operations</p> </li><li> <p>Readily learn and apply training, new techniques and independent judgment</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work a studio lift</p> </li></ul> <p>WHERE YOU'LL LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY:</p> <p>Cleveland, Ohio, is a vibrant city on the shores of Lake Erie, offering a rich blend of culture, sports, and entertainment.
