<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The role of Patient Driver & Transportation Associateis to maintainsafety and provide exceptional service to patients requiring assistancemoving from the hospital to their home or discharged location post-hospital release. The patient driver must have excellent driving skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Make patient service, care, and satisfaction the priority in every interaction by providing exceptional guest experiences.</p> <p>Interact with the patient to ensure that departure from the hospital is smooth and efficient.</p> <p>Provide a safe, comfortable ride experience from the hospital to their discharge location.</p> <p>Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospital visits, or other healthcare-related destinations.</p> <p>Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary medical supplies, such as oxygen tanks or first-aid kits.</p> <p>Help patients enter and exit the vehicle, assistingwith mobility devices or other medical equipment as needed.</p> <p>Follow all traffic laws and regulations, always maintaininga safe driving record.</p> <p>Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers to meet all transportation needs.</p> <p>Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.</p> <p>Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and safety.</p> <p>Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, demonstratingempathy and understanding for their unique situations.</p> <p>Look for the safety and well-being of all team members, customers/patients, and co-workers.</p> <p>Perform any other duties assigned explicitly by a supervisor or manager.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Years of Experience:Entry Level</p> <p>Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and written</p> <p>Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Clean driving record with an active driver's license</p> <p>Able to push patients in wheelchairs and assistwith entering and exiting the vehicle</p> <p>Able to sit for prolonged periods</p> <p>Able to walk short distances</p> <p>Able to engage and provide exceptional service in all interactions</p> <p>Able to see, read and understand the small print</p>
