<p>If you thrive in a team-oriented workplace that challenges your skills, to drive your career development, embraces diversity and rewards innovation, with competitive pay and great employee programs, join the Ainsworth (a GDI company) team today!</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for the start-up & commissioning, trouble-shooting and repair of Automatic Temperature Control systems, utilizing knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration and air conditioning theory, and control techniques.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities (Summary):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform service assignments, upgrades, testing, commissioning, and small projects at customer sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair Building Management and DDC systems, including low-voltage electrical work.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct preventive maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and coordinate on-site installations and repairs; identify and order parts as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver and follow up on customer training; provide sales leads when applicable.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete and submit service documentation, timesheets, and reports promptly.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain service vehicle records and stay current on Delta products.</p> </li><li> <p>Regular travel required, with flexibility for overtime and weekends.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>5+ relevant experience required </li><li>Ability to read, understand, and/or write short and simple correspondence and memos. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. </li><li>Ability to comprehend technical and mathematical instructions using numbers, fractions, decimals, ratio, and percent. Proficient in using laptop PCs and computer systems. </li><li>Knowledge and experience in HVAC and Control systems is essential. </li><li>Read and understand HVAC Drawings, control drawings and electrical drawings. </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, climb a ladder, lift and/or move materials up to 50 lbs. </li><li>This position requires working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions. Employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment; to wet and/or humid conditions; to high, precarious places; to fumes or airborne particles; to outside weather conditions; to risk of electrical shock and vibration; to toxic or caustic chemicals; to extreme cold and extreme heat.
