<p>POSITION</p> <ul> <li>Lead Teacher </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED TASKS:</p> <p>Curriculum & Behavioral Support Planning</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate and develop lessons as well as behavioral management systems and plans that support the learning goals of the Edison Success Academy. </li><li>Develop problem-based learning lesson plans and activities that align with educational standards and cater to career-based needs and student interests. All lessons are connected to the Big Picture Learning model goals of problem-based learning, are career centered and career-focused. </li><li>In collaboration with the School Principal, create, update and modify behavioral management plans and systems. </li></ul> <p>Internship Site Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Update, modify and create web and paper-based information to share with local businesses as well as families about the various internship options and processes at ESA. </li><li>Meet with local businesses to share information about the program </li><li>Campaign and connect to develop additional internship/business connections </li><li>Visit on-site local businesses </li><li>On-board local businesses through the district process </li><li>Complete all state paperwork required for Work-Based Learning sites </li><li>Onboard new locations. </li><li>All internship options added to a shared internship database. </li></ul> <p>Student Program Applications & Scheduling</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Principal and Supervisor of Secondary Pupil-Special Services for the following: </li><li>Annual Intake process </li><li>Annual IEP, 504 and IPP student review </li><li>Review pending applications </li><li>Update IPP reviews for returning students </li></ul> <p>Professional Development</p> <ul> <li>Attend ongoing and required professional development training that specifically supports the mission, vision and goals of the Edison Success Academy. </li><li>Work-Based Learning Training </li><li>Big Picture Learning Training </li><li>CPI </li><li>Executive Functioning/ SEL Training </li><li>Additional Training as directed by Administration. </li><li>Any additional tasks as assigned by the Principal. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p>
