<p>WARTBURG COLLEGE</p> <p>Title of Position -Assistant Athletic Trainer</p> <p>Function of Position:</p> <p>This is a full-time, ten-month position (August through May) reporting to the Associate Athletic Director. This individual will serve a vital role in the athletic healthcare team including physical therapists and team physicians while overseeing and delivering athletic healthcare services to NCAA Division III student-athletes in a nationally prominent athletic department.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Implement athletic training services to intercollegiate athletic teams and student athletes (90%). </li><li>Administrative duties related to student-athlete healthcare and primary sport oversight of Men's & Women's Soccer in the Fall and Indoor/Outdoor Track & Field in the Spring. (10%). </li></ul> <p>Supervision:</p> <p>Employee proceeds independently working toward established objectives, requiring the use of a wide range of procedures. Employee prioritizes own work and resolves unusual cases in consultation with supervisor.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Requires Bachelor's degree, NATA certification, and a commitment to the welfare and development of student athletes within the philosophy of Division III. Master's degree is required. Experience in college athletics preferred. Salary is competitive and includes benefits.
