<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Registered Radiology Technologist performs medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.Scope</p> <p>As a Radiology Technologist, you need to know how to:</p> <p>Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist ensuring clear and undistorted films. Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.</p> <p>Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units.</p> <p>Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures.</p> <p>Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone.</p> <p>Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; Ensures preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis; contacts outside service for major malfunctions according to established guidelines.</p> <p>Promote effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate that departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent, required- Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required- Current license/certification in the state of practice, required- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required- At least one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience, preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>No Additional Description Available</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital</p> <p>Work City:</p> <p>Wheat Ridge</p> <p>Work State:</p> <p>Colorado</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours:</p> <p>0</p> <p>The hourly range for this position is listed below.
