Maximum salary: $76,000.</p> <p>Full Time or Part Time: Full Time</p> <p>Additional Detail</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. We also believe in providing an ongoing investment in our faculty and staff to deepen their skills and competencies to serve the full range of our student population.</p> <p>Reynolds Community College is seeking a dynamic and student-centered individual to serve as a full-time Marketing/Business Instructor. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in business and marketing courses, support student success through active engagement and advising, and contribute to program and curriculum development. This position requires a commitment to teaching excellence, continuous professional development, and service to the college and community.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Teach transfer and non-transfer courses in Marketing and Business. </li><li>Maintain an average teaching load of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester. </li><li>Hold regular office hours and provide academic advising to students. </li><li>Participate in curriculum development and assessment activities. </li><li>Engage with the business community to support program relevance and student opportunities. </li><li>Participate in college service, professional development, and assigned collateral duties. </li><li>Teaching assignments may include day, evening, online, and dual enrollment courses at multiple locations. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or an Associate's degree in Marketing with demonstrated competency in the teaching field. </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience and/or college-level teaching experience. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the field of marketing and business education. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively use instructional technologies to enhance learning. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills. </li><li>Experience in curriculum design, distance learning, and course development. </li><li>Willingness to teach using new and emerging technologies. </li><li>Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and the success of a multicultural student population. </li><li>Previous community college teaching experience is highly desirable. </li></ul> <p>Additional Considerations:</p>
