<p>Description:</p> <ul> <li>We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AS400 Developer to join our IT team. </li><li>The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IBM iSeries (AS/400) development, including RPG IV/ILE, CL, and DB2/400. </li><li>You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting business applications running on the AS400 platform. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform using RPG IV/ILE, CL, and SQL. </li><li>Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. </li><li>Perform system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. </li><li>Support and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business needs. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and other developers. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. </li><li>Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. </li><li>Maintain technical documentation and provide user support and training as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in AS400/iSeries development. </li><li>Proficiency in RPG IV/ILE, CL, and DB2/400. </li><li>Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). </li><li>Experience with data modelling and performance tuning on DB2/400. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 - 5:00 PM CST, with possibly some weekend included.</p>
