<p>Job Description</p> <p>Department: Rides Operations</p> <p>Title: Assistant Mechanic - Rides</p> <p>Employment Type: Part Time</p> <p>Status: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Grade Level: Hourly</p> <p>Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour</p> <p>Reports To: Rides Management</p> <p>Schedule: Must be able to work five days including weekends and holidays</p> <p>Hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, dependent on weather and guest attendance; schedule subject to change through the spring and summer</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Mechanics assist in the maintenance and operation of rides to ensure that our guests enjoy a safe and fun experience.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsibilities include but are not limited to: </li><li>Assisting in the routine and preventive inspection and maintenance of rides which could include basic automotive repair and electrical </li><li>Cleaning maintenance shops, including but not limited to stations, equipment, and tools </li><li>Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance work performed </li><li>Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts, hardware, and tools </li><li>Performing grounds maintenance, including mowing grass, caring for landscape, painting and line striping - utilizing paint machine </li><li>Assisting in emergency situations </li><li>Completing other related assignments and helping others on the team as required </li><li>Assisting with major events such as Holiday Lights as required. </li></ul>
