<p>Position Description:</p> <p>The School of Education at Mercy University invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Educational Leadership who can also serve as the School of Education's Assessment Director. This position is ideal for a scholar-practitioner who is committed to preparing educational leaders and contributing to the continuous improvement of educator preparation programs.</p> <p>The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in educational leadership and related areas, mentor students, and maintain an active program of scholarship. In addition, the faculty member will contribute to the School of Education's efforts to strengthen program assessment, data-informed decision making, and accreditation processes. Working collaboratively with faculty and school leadership, the successful candidate will help support the implementation and ongoing improvements of the School's assessment system to ensure program quality, effectiveness, and compliance with accreditation standards. The role includes responsibility for coordinating assessment processes across programs, supporting faculty in the use of assessment data for program improvement, and leading the preparation of reports for accreditation. The faculty member selected for this position will receive some reassigned time to support these leadership responsibilities.
