<p>SCADA/Controls Engineer</p> <p>We have an exciting opportunity for SCADA and Controls Engineers interested in supporting the renewables sector! This team works in office in Florida supporting some of the largest renewables projects in the country.</p> <p>The SCADA and Controls Engineer will support the design and integration of DG control systems and be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of both new and existing automation systems, utilizing the latest technologies and trends in renewable energy projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement new and existing automation systems. </li><li>Maintain effective working relationships with management, supervisory positions, foremen, and electricians. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate preparation of engineering documentation and specifications. </li><li>Establish and adhere to procedures and standards in safety, communications, and performance testing. </li><li>Extract contractual requirements from power purchase and interconnection agreements, ensuring engineering and SCADA design meets deliverables. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, and controls engineering. </li><li>Control software design and programming for PLC and SCADA systems. </li><li>Interfacing and coordination for M2M, B2B, and DNP3. </li><li>Experience with network design, specification, BOM, and sourcing. </li><li>Knowledge of device control network design and specification. </li><li>Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA & HMI systems, HMI panels, and IT infrastructure. </li><li>Understanding of communication protocols like Modbus, TCP/IP, MQQT, and OPC. </li><li>Ability to generate Bills of Materials for automation systems and panels. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
