We respect the work we do and everyone who helps make it happen safely.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>McCarthy is seeking a full-time Construction Operations Business Systems Analyst, as part of the Applications team, will lead the analysis, design, implementation, and support of our Enterprise applications and related systems focused on Project Management and controls. The role is focused on maximizing the value of our technology portfolio and equipping our business to make the right decisions with the right application and technology experience.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Business Analysis and Solution Design</p> <ul> <li>Develop a strong understanding of key operational processes and workflows including the key business drivers behind those processes. </li><li>Partner closely with key stakeholders to consider new and better ways to apply technology to drive greater business outcomes (improved collaboration, efficiency, quality, etc.). Facilitate effective discovery sessions and techniques to uncover specific business needs and requirements. </li><li>Establish a future state vision and lead approach to designing, developing, implementing, and supporting future state use cases. </li></ul> <p>Internal and External Relationship Management</p> <ul> <li>Build strong partnerships with internal business leaders, influencers, project teams, and users serving as the technology and business enablement advocate too advise and direct the best practice methods. </li><li>Act as a liaison to other IT teams and be a focal point for cross-application integration opportunities. </li><li>Develop partnerships with key stakeholders within external technology vendors, including implementation resources, customer success representatives, and product teams. </li><li>Work with key technology vendors to provide roadmap guidance as a user voice of our internal partners and right size technology contract renewals to maximize adoption and value. </li></ul> <p>Project Planning, Execution, and Change Management</p> <ul> <li>Execute mindful project planning for each technology initiative, including resource planning, schedule, key milestones, risk mitigation, issue management and ongoing communication. </li><li>Seek to execute projects in an agile, highly collaborative manner with a goal of delivering value for McCarthy throughout project execution. </li><li>Plan, develop and execute testing, communication, and change management activities. </li><li>Collaborate on training content based on best practices established for application capabilities. </li><li>Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, team members, strategic partners, and vendors. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline. </li><li>3+ years of experience in systems analysis, delivery, and support preferred </li><li>3+ years of experience with Project Management module functions (Project Management, Construction Documents, Schedules, Project Financials, Quality and Safety) </li><li>Experience working in a construction company (GC, subcontractor, or owner) with large-scale projects. </li><li>Familiarity with related construction technology tools (Primavera P6, Procore, Autodesk, Power BI). </li><li>Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written) </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with aptitude for acquiring new skills </li><li>Highly motivated team player with passion for delivering value to the organization </li><li>Strong organizational and project management capabilities with a drive for continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.</p>
