This role serves the CAP and Warranty team by performing administration and logistics duties. In this position you will have an opportunity to grow your skills by facilitating imports and exports, communicating with freight forwarders, and partnering with internal departments.</p> <p>What you'll be doing as a BPR Logistics Support Specialist</p> <ul> <li>Induct, maintain, and ensure timely billing for all Bell Property components to be repaired from fielded customers and programs. </li><li>Facilitate the movement / disposition / designation for all core and assets for CAP/Warranty by inducting items into the facility. Ensure items can be repaired/overhauled and are returned to inventory. </li><li>Facilitate Global Distribution of reconditioned assets by ensuring parts are positioned at various locations and positioned for timely delivery to customers. </li><li>Monitor order delivery process to ensure parts ship daily, troubleshoot and provide corrective action recommendations to improve readiness and availability to our customers. </li><li>Analyze, troubleshoot and problem solve transportation and shipping issues. </li><li>Act as a liaison between procurement and multiple internal departments to resolve issues and escalate issues when necessary for satisfactory resolution. </li><li>Maintaining accurate inventory, work-in-progress, and scrap component data to be reported to internal departments weekly through multiple systems. </li><li>Assist with other clerical and office duties as required. </li><li>Provide on call support after normal business hours as required. </li><li>Other duties as required by management. </li></ul> <p>Skills You Bring To this Role</p> <ul> <li>Ability to use multiple Bell systems (SAP, Visual ERP, CRM, accounting, billing, contracts, estimating, purchasing, and shipping) to provide accurate responses regarding order status, projected delivery dates, etc. </li><li>Understanding of global transport regulations, including import/export requirements for ITAR controlled parts and hazardous materials. </li><li>IATA and Haz-mat training for hazardous material shipping and handling. </li><li>Intermediate level ability with MS Office programs (including Word, Outlook and Excel). </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>High attention to detail, and ability to complete routine paperwork and various forms in accordance with company policies and procedures. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to meet established goals and deadlines in a fast-paced team environment. </li><li>Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with all levels of management. </li><li>Planning and organizational skills to coordinate workload around multiple assignments. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to promote positive, professional work relationships and team environment. </li><li>Ability to support on-call customer needs when scheduled. </li><li>Willingness and initiative to learn. </li></ul> <p>What you need to be successful</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>2 years' experience related to job duties </li><li>Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to use computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and standard company software. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Ability to perform occasional kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs. </li><li>Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks. </li><li>Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues. </li><li>Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed. </li></ul> <p>What we offer you in return</p> <ul> <li>80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO) </li><li>120 hours Vacation time </li><li>12-13 paid holidays per year </li><li>6 weeks parental leave </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Competitive salary </li><li>Comprehensive health insurance </li><li>On-site Bell Piney Flats fitness center (employees only) </li><li>Access to Employee Resource Groups </li><li>And so much more </li></ul> <p>It's time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
