<p>Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc.</p> <p>Engineered Ceramics and New Product Introduction Managing Lead</p> <p>Indianapolis, IN, United States | req25038</p> <p>What you will enjoy doing*</p> <ul> <li>You will be responsible for the day-to-day and overall functions of the Engineered Ceramics division for the Atomization business of Linde Advanced Material Technologies. This includes Senior and Process engineers as well as operational technicians to produce highly specialized ceramics powders for aerospace, space, SOFC/SOEC/superconducting applications </li><li>Leadership of the Engineered Ceramics group will consist of running new product introduction (NPI) projects and orders driven by customers through the technical and operations team </li><li>Provide technical guidance and leadership on project direction </li><li>You will have a customer-facing role in which technical conversations about product goals, timelines, performance are communicated to drive growth of Engineered Ceramics </li><li>An ability to articulate complex ideas and problems to customers and shareholders is highly advantageous </li><li>This role also has a public-facing role aspect participation in technical conferences through presentation, observation, or exhibit may be necessary </li><li>Comfort in public speaking of technical subjects in an articulate and professional manner would be required </li><li>Collaboration with academic institutions on NPI or external funding may also be required from time to time </li><li>An ability to write proposals with task orientation and experience in writing technical papers and proposals is a plus </li></ul> <p>What makes you great</p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in Materials Science discipline required, PhD preferred </li><li>5-10 years of total experience in engineering and technical field required </li><li>Experience in management of technical team highly preferred </li><li>Working knowledge of ceramic materials including TBC's, EBC's, SOFC materials required </li><li>You can show proven ability of effective problem-solving and analytical capability </li><li>You should be able to demonstrate a track record of innovative thinking and technical accomplishments </li><li>Further you must have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a multidisciplinary environment or in a public technical setting </li></ul> <p>Why you will love working with us</p> <p>Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
