We are among the top 20% being declared "Best" of our industry based on six critical factors that are important to employee wellbeing, like quality of pay, benefits, work life balance and more.</p> <p>We are seeking a high-impact Senior Director of Sales Enablement to lead the design, execution, and optimization of enablement programs that support revenue growth across our portfolio. This strategic leader will elevate seller effectiveness by aligning training, content, and field readiness with buyer needs and company goals (again, across the product portfolio). You'll serve as the bridge between sales, product, and marketing-ensuring our customer-facing teams are always prepared to win.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Set the enablement vision and strategy to support our multi-product go-to-market approach across different customer segments and sales roles.</p> </li><li> <p>Build and lead a team that delivers world-class onboarding, training, and field readiness programs across all stages of the seller lifecycle.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the development and maintenance of content ecosystems (e.g., playbooks, talk tracks, competitive positioning, objection handling) that are role- and solution-specific.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Product, Product Marketing, and Sales Leadership to ensure consistent, buyer-aligned messaging and timely readiness for launches, changes, and market shifts.</p> </li><li> <p>Own and optimize the sales enablement tech stack-including content delivery platforms, LMS systems, and conversation intelligence tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and track KPIs that measure the impact of enablement programs, including time to ramp, seller productivity, content engagement, and sales confidence.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a strategic advisor to senior sales leaders on rep capability development, market readiness, and evolving sales skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>10+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales leadership, or GTM strategy roles; at least 3 years in a senior or director-level enablement position.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to lead enablement programs across multiple solutions, sales motions, and buyer personas.</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional communication, influence, and cross-functional leadership skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and buyer journey alignment.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience building and scaling enablement programs in high-growth environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with modern enablement tools (e.g., Highspot, Seismic) and data-driven program evaluation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Background in SaaS, marketplace, or automotive digital retailing. </li></ul> <p>Experience building enablement functions from the ground up or through major transformation.</p> <p>In this spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the compensation for this role. The range is expressed as total target compensation (base salary + variable). If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your total target compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience.
