<p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Administer all types of construction projects including paving, bridge work, and major interchange enhancements </li><li>Solve problems and resolve issues to ensure projects meet ODOT's high standards </li><li>Oversee a team of dedicated individuals who all work with a single goal to achieve high quality projects built on time that serve the traveling public </li></ul> <p>Who We are Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Hard workers who thrive on diving in and resolving complex challenges </li><li>Team oriented individuals </li><li>Able to multi-task and shift priorities quickly </li></ul> <p>Licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 12 mos. exp. as group or project leader providing work direction & training to engineering technicians &/or lower-level engineers or 12 mos. exp. in conducting engineering related research (i.e., conducting engineering related research only applies to staff specialist positions); if assigned to operate a state vehicle to travel to & inspect project sites, must possess valid driver's license.</p> <ul> <li>Or licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 12 mos. exp. as Transportation Engineer 2, 85642; if assigned to operate a state vehicle to travel to & inspect project sites, must possess valid driver's license. </li><li>Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated registration. </li></ul> <p>Job Skills: Civil Engineering</p>
