<p>Kforce has a client in Empire, CO that is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist II who will play a crucial role in ensuring materials and equipment are available to support maintenance, planning, and operations.</p> <p>Inventory & Procurement Management</p> <ul> <li>Proactively monitor and manage Collaborative Planning reports to maintain optimal stock levels </li><li>Receive and review requisitions, ensuring alignment with operational needs </li><li>Obtain quotes, evaluate supplier performance, and facilitate purchasing decisions </li><li>Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, pricing, and supplier performance </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Act as a liaison between maintenance, planning, and operations teams to ensure material availability </li><li>Expedite urgent requests and coordinate with GSC Shared Services to resolve supply chain issues </li><li>Conduct supplier evaluations and support vendor negotiations </li></ul> <p>Data Analysis & Process Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Perform root cause analysis on inventory performance issues and drive corrective actions </li><li>Ensure accuracy of master data (BOM, equipment, and material records) for operational efficiency </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to GAAP, SEC regulations, internal controls (SOX), and corporate policies </li><li>Prepare reports and present data to leadership and cross-functional teams* High School diploma/GED and 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field, or </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint </li><li>Experience with (SAP), Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing </li><li>Comfortable with public speaking and presenting data to large groups </li><li>Organizing data and communicating with vendors/suppliers </li></ul>
