<p>Starting Pay: $22.00</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Counts contents of BVA's Poker and Table Games boxes.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for taking unaudited money out of all boxes. </li><li>Responsible for running money through the Glory GSA 500 for count. </li><li>Filling out paperwork for game boxes and completing the shift settlement sheets. </li><li>Keying in information into the computer. </li><li>Cleaning up of the soft count area. </li><li>Always maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude. </li><li>Have complete knowledge of events and promotional activities and facilities available to guest. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>MISCELLANEOUS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to read, write, hear and speak clearly.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to handle and count money accurately.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use a 10-key calculator.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent. </li><li>Must hold a valid gaming license by the state. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li> <p>Standing 75%</p> </li><li> <p>Walking 10%</p> </li><li> <p>Bending/Lifting 10% (up to 15 lbs.)</p> </li><li> <p>Pulling/Pushing 5% (up to 800 lbs. with help)</p> </li><li> <p>Locked in a secured room.</p> </li><li> <p>Casino environment exposed to bright lights, loud noises, varied temperatures.</p> </li><li> <p>High rise hotel.</p> </li><li> <p>Some time spent on casino floor.</p> </li></ul> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
