<p>Provide operational support for the Director, Office Manager, faculty, students, and community members at the Enumclaw Campus.</p> <p>The coordinator's primary role is to coordinate daily operations, including overseeing rentals, our testing center, and community engagement. Under general direction, this position performs work using knowledge and experience specific to programs offered at the Enumclaw Campus. This includes our credit and non-credit students and our PearsonVUE testing center. Exercising independent judgement in interpreting and applying rules and regulations, this position assumes a broad spectrum of duties and activities to support the daily operations of the Enumclaw Campus. This position will work collaboratively with team members in our Continuing Education, Kent, Auburn Center, and Enumclaw areas.</p> <p>ABOUT THE COLLEGE:</p> <p>Green River College's student body is made up of approximately 41% Academic Transfer students, 34% Professional-Technical students, 15% Adult Basic Education student, and 3% Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses, including the main campus in Auburn, Washington, with satellite campuses in Kent, downtown Auburn, and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates, Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college), those seeking retraining for the workforce, international students, students learning English, and Continuing Education students. Issue receipts and apply funds to student accounts. Balance receipts and prepares deposit documents, checks accuracy, investigates and works collaboratively with the cashier's office to correct discrepancies, enforces established cash handing controls and maintains cashbox </li><li>Control and Monitor campus email and respond within a timely manner. </li><li>Monitor Janitorial log and keep track of communication between janitorial and campus and submit monthly invoices. </li><li>Coordinate and Monitor Events, Rental Contracts, Invoices, and Receipts of payment. </li><li>Create Marketing material to promote classes, rental information, running start, and events happening specifically for the branch. </li><li>Coordinate Events and work with proper departments for marketing and promotion. </li><li>Assists instructors with equipment, copying and classroom needs </li><li>Schedule, coordinate, and proctor internal and external student exams. Maintain a secure testing environment and address any situations of cheating </li><li>Coordinate room scheduling for credit, non-credit, community rentals and miscellaneous classroom needs. Communicate room assignments to faculty and community members and resolve any room conflicts as needed. Proctor ABE/GED testing </li><li>Develop and coordinate student activities for Enumclaw Campus, including annual budget submission and monitoring; and development, and implementation of student events </li><li>Provide technical support to students to include CANVAS, student email, and general navigation, etc. </li><li>Perform complex word processing functions to include memorandums, letters, report creation, meeting agendas/minutes, flyers, marketing materials, forms, etc. </li><li>Assist in the preparation, compilation and coordination of reports and records such as financial, exam proctoring, class offerings and enrollment figures, etc. </li><li>Assist with the training, supervising, and directing the work of student office employees </li><li>Communicate daily activities with campus director and campus staff to ensure continuity of service and operations </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned </li><li>Hours may vary between quarters as needed </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>AA degree or 3 years in administrative support </li><li>Two years' experience working in an office or professional setting using clerical skills </li><li>Computer proficiency including working knowledge of registration software, word processing, and spreadsheets </li><li>Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, keeping track of information, attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, and multi-tasking </li><li>Responsible and accurately handling money when processing financial transactions </li><li>Ability to work with a diverse student and community population including effective communication skills, problem solving, and reference to appropriate programs and departments.
