<p>Overview</p> <p>Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate that would be responsible to mig weld automotive lifts and lift components as assigned by the Production Supervisor.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Mig weld components for automotive lifts </li><li>Place components on paint line </li><li>Drive forklift when needed </li><li>Assist in implementation of 6S initiatives and activities with an emphasis on safety </li><li>Suggests and assists in process improvements which assures safety, quality and efficiency is built into the process </li><li>Assist in assembly and fabrication processes as needed </li></ul> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to be certified in mig welding in the horizontal position </li><li>Ability to read a tape measure </li><li>Basic blueprint reading </li><li>Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization </li><li>Strong understanding of process interaction </li><li>Strong problem solving skills </li><li>Understanding general manufacturing </li><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours </li><li>Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 pounds </li><li>Align with the Snap-on mission statement </li><li>Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable). </li><li>Must adhere to safety guidelines </li></ul>
