<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Graduate Assistant Coach will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in running all aspects of the MCLA DIII team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; recruiting, hosting recruits, campus tours, developing and coaching team training sessions, planning and implementing home and away match logistics, holding team meetings, break down training and match film, supervising team academics, scouting opponents, developing in-season and off-season player/team development plans, , fundraising, effective communication with the athletic department staff and administration.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain an active role in the recruitment of student-athletes, including identification of prospective student-athletes and participation in the on-campus recruiting process. </li><li>Meet with recruiting coordinator to plan and track recruitment efforts. </li><li>Support head coach in ensuring that all matters related to the team's student-athletes adhere to NCAA and conference rules and regulations. </li><li>Attend and actively coach at non-traditional and traditional practices. </li><li>Instruct student-athletes in regards skills and execution needed to perform the sport. </li><li>Assist in game statistical and film analysis. </li><li>Participate in player evaluation. </li><li>Contribute to a positive work climate. </li><li>Establish and maintain a professional demeanor with student-athletes, parents, staff, etc. </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities in addition to those above which do not alter the basic level of responsibility of the position. </li><li>Support the Athletic Department with Title IX & Equal Opportunity education (training will be provided). </li></ul> <p>Provided:</p> <ul> <li>Tuition & Fees for MCLA Graduate Program. </li><li>On campus housing. </li><li>On campus meal plan. </li><li>Annual Stipend $5,000. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. </li><li>Accepted into an MCLA Graduate Program. </li><li>Ability to pass a background check. </li><li>Wlling to travel. </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li><li>Working a non-traditional schedule including, evenings and weekends. </li><li>Competitive playing experience at the NCAA or NAIA level. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a part-time, 10-month position.
