THESE POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED IN ANY OF THESE TITLES AND WILL BE DEPENDENT ON THE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE APPLICANTS SELECTED.</p> <p>ASSIGNMENT: Join a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative team making a meaningful impact on New York State's justice system. As a Technician with the Division of Court Modernization (DCM), you will work under the direction of Technical Managers and Engineers to help enhance courtroom functionality and accessibility across the state. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a technically advanced and socially driven environment.</p> <p>Technicians support a broad range of DCM operations, including the research, design, deployment, maintenance, training, and ongoing support of advanced audio-visual systems in courtrooms, jury rooms, training centers, and conference spaces statewide.</p> <p>Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving issues related to cabling, networking, AV hardware/software, and system configuration. Technicians may also coordinate with court personnel and vendors, provide on-site support at various court locations, and regularly report project updates to Technical Managers and the DCM Director.</p> <p>Technicians are also responsible for the installation and upkeep of AV/IT systems, conducting first-level troubleshooting, analyzing equipment and system performance, and following established DCM procedures. More complex issues are escalated to Engineers.
