Apply for this challenging role and join our team in the US.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of SteelcoBelimed products while providing excellent service to customers.</p> <p>This could be a great fit if you possess strong mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills! You may have experience as a/an: Automotive Repair Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Car Wash Mechanic, Machinist's Mate, Boiler Technician, Generator Technician, Forklift Technician, Appliance or Equipment Repair Technician, etc.</p> <p>Training: 90 days of on-the-job training in your region and 3 weeks of classroom training in your first year at our Charleston, SC headquarters</p> <p>This is a remote, home-based position traveling around the Tulsa area and covering within a 2-4 hour driving radius. Additional travel, including some overnights, during the first 90 days may be necessary for training purposes.</p> <p>Compensation: $32.00 / hour</p> <p>How you will impact SteelcoBelimed and our clients</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions using test instruments </li><li>Measures and adjusts digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipment </li><li>Installs, modifies and repairs SteelcoBelimed and/or 3rd party equipment </li><li>Manages customer base effectively; prioritizing customer needs and balancing preventive maintenance (PM) workload with daily repairs </li><li>Demonstrates correct usage and application of equipment to customers </li><li>Conducts product in-service trainings as required </li><li>Completes service reports, timesheets, expense reports and parts lists in a timely and accurate manner </li><li>Maintains an organized work vehicle with necessary tools, manuals and parts required to provide efficient repairs and installations </li><li>Monitors customer chemical orders, contract sales and renewals </li><li>Promotes and maintains good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls </li><li>Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls </li><li>Experience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, amp probes and precision temperature and pressure calibration equipment </li><li>Ability to perform piping of copper, brass and stainless steel piping </li><li>Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics </li><li>Moderate technical aptitude; general computer skills with the ability to communicate effectively via e-mail </li><li>Ability to lift at least fifty pounds unassisted </li><li>Ability to climb over and crawl under equipment </li><li>Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record </li><li>Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as business need dictates </li><li>Ability to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements in order to access customer sites </li></ul> <p>Join our team and take your career further.</p>
