<p>Job Title: Clinical Specialist</p> <p>Department: BICC, Family and Community Services</p> <p>Reports to: Program Manager</p> <p>FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt</p> <p>Inclusive. Innovative. Our community commits itself to being inclusive and welcoming as we put the whole person at the center of everything we do.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Brain Injury Community Center staff are members of a team responsible for providing high-quality services to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries. They are responsible for following and implementing programs and classes designed by the Program Manager, ensuring positive interactions with team members and Individuals to create a positive and supportive environment for the members.</p> <p>Schedule: M-F / 9:00AM to 5:00PM</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for running each class that the individuals have selected, ensuring the hours of operation are met each week. </li><li>Responsible for producing accurate, legible, and timely documentation for Individuals. </li><li>Responsible for contributing ideas for program design and activities that are appropriate for the individuals to the Program Manager. </li><li>Serves as a program staff to individuals to enhance the services designed and provided by the Program Manager. </li><li>Work with individuals on their goals through wellness, stress management, nutrition, and community recreation activities. </li><li>Provides constructive input into program activities and outings. </li><li>Ensures adherence to a weekly schedule, ensuring the timely start and end of each activity. </li><li>Support the learning of Individuals by use of motivational techniques, effective interventions, and various communication approaches. </li></ul> <p>Experience & Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, human services, or other social service areas. </li><li>Two years of experience in direct support working with persons who have acquired brain injuries. </li><li>Consideration will be given to candidates with an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li></ul> <p>Employee Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical & Dental Plans </li><li>Vision </li><li>Life & Disability Insurance </li><li>403B Retirement Plan </li><li>Flexible Spending & Dependent Care Accounts </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement Program </li><li>Employee Referral Program </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off and Vacation Time </li></ul>
