<p>Department</p> <p>Nuclear Medicine</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Under the supervision of a physician, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and possess ability to assess, interact, communicate, and care for specific patient populations.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Require American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification. </li><li>Require completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program. </li><li>Require a minimum of seven (7) years of current nuclear medicine experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prefer American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography (CT) registry. </li><li>Prefer previous nuclear cardiology experience. </li></ul> <p>Required License and Certs</p> <p>BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR</p> <p>FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech</p> <p>Employment Screening Requirements</p> <p>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p>
