<p>> Position: Inboxologist Location: Minnie Jones Health Center 257 Biltmore Avenue Asheville, NC Job Id: 623 # of Openings: 1</p> <p>INBOXOLOGIST- REMOTE</p> <p>Advance Practice Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant</p> <p>Are you passionate about helping the underserved?</p> <p>Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are looking for an Advance Practice Nurse (APN), Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide professional medical services to complement the delivery of integrated team-based, whole-person, trauma-informed primary health care services. This role will assess, maintain, and improve the health status of individuals in the communities served through timely access to evidence-based acute, preventive, and chronic disease care. Effectively collaborates with, and/or delegates to members of the interdisciplinary health care team, and provides indirect supervision of medical support staff.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES- Includes but not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Engages in a patient-centered approach to provide timely access to high quality care for patients and their families </li><li>Serves as a role model of professionalism to all members of the interdisciplinary health care team. </li><li>Collaborates with all clinicians including Physicians, APNs, PAs, Clinical Pharmacists, Therapists, Dentists, and clinical support staff to form a high performing team </li><li>Cultivates a climate of safety, trust, and compassion for patients and colleagues </li><li>Provides medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients of the clinic in a timely manner, including responding to emergencies and answering medical questions </li><li>Provides high-value cost-conscious care; demonstrates good stewardship of resources by limiting unnecessary testing and referrals; and considers risks, benefits, and patient preferences when making diagnostic or therapeutic intervention decisions. </li><li>Documents all patient care activities and bills for all services provided in the electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise, accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail to allow another provider to continue the patient's care as well as to allow other parties to review the safety and quality of care provided. </li><li>Provides medical orders for prescription medications and refills, administration of medications, preventive care, ancillary testing, and/or referrals as needed to patients </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited master's degree program </li></ul> <p>Certification/Licensure:</p> <ul> <li>Current North Carolina licensure/certification required (APN, FNP, or PA) </li><li>Current DEA and BLS Certificate is required </li><li>Must be Medicaid and Medicare eligible </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>3 years primary care (provider) experience </li><li>Knowledgeable about current standards, methods, and procedures for the delivery of evidence-based care in an efficient, organized, and accurate manner </li><li>Collaboration and teamwork skills to work efficiently with others to provide new ideas and help inspire staff and management </li><li>Time management skills </li><li>Interpersonal skills, compassion, and empathy to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
