<p>Duties</p> <p>Instructional Coach (PreK-8) - Monolingual & Dual Language Programs</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Wood Dale School District 7 is seeking a collaborative, knowledgeable Instructional Coach to support teaching and learning across PreK-8 classrooms in both monolingual and dual-language settings. The Instructional Coach will work closely with teachers, administrators, and instructional teams to improve student outcomes through job-embedded professional learning, coaching cycles, and data-informed instructional practices.</p> <ul> <li>Partner with teachers (PreK-8) to plan, model, co-teach, and reflect on high-quality instruction </li><li>Facilitate coaching focused on student achievement and instructional improvement </li><li>Support implementation of district curriculum, including dual language programming </li><li>Experience with developing UBD biliteracy instructional units </li><li>Experience with standards-based assessment and reporting </li><li>Use data (formative, summative, and benchmark assessments) to guide instructional decisions </li><li>Design and facilitate professional development aligned to district priorities </li><li>Support grade-level teams in analyzing student work and data </li><li>Provide resources and strategies to support differentiated instruction and scaffolding </li><li>Support effective practices in dual language and linguistically diverse classrooms </li><li>Promote culturally and linguistically responsive teaching practices </li><li>Assist teachers in meeting the needs of diverse learners </li><li>Maintain clear communication with staff and leadership regarding instructional initiatives </li><li>Support the district's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework across classrooms </li><li>Initiates tasks and is able to complete them with minimal supervision </li><li>Stay current on research-based instructional practices and share with staff </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL). </li><li>Endorsement in ESL or willing to obtain </li><li>Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience (PreK-8 preferred) </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in literacy and/or mathematics instruction </li><li>Experience with instructional coaching or teacher leadership roles preferred </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>Salary/Benefits:</p> <p>Per Wood Dale School District 7 contract/administrative guidelines</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Application Process:</p> <p>Interested candidates should apply online through Frontline and submit:</p> <ul> <li>Cover letter </li><li>Resume </li><li>Copies of licensure and endorsements </li></ul> <p>Email Address</p> <p>sjjohnson@wdsd7.org</p> <p>School District</p> <p>wdsd7.org</p> <p>Position Website</p> <p>https://www.applitrack.com/wd7/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=Instructional+Coach</p> <p>City Website</p> <p>Wood Dale</p> <p>ILearn Link</p> <p>ILearn</p> <p>Report Card Link</p> <p>District Report Card</p> <p>Job Posting Date</p> <p>4/22/2026</p> <p>Start Date</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Email for More Information</p> <p>evillalobos@wdsd7.org</p>
