<p>We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This ON-SITE Full-time opportunity will work Monday - Friday from 8:00a - 4:30p and includes a comprehensive benefit package.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Supports, and is responsible for incorporating into job performance, the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program, including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior.</p> <p>Example of Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for the procurement of all necessary supplies and equipment needed for patient care, including capital equipment and service contracts. </li><li>They participate in negotiations to secure appropriate and competitive pricing, and quality service. </li><li>They are responsible for ensuring accurate price entry on purchase orders and to work through price exceptions between Frederick and Vendor pricing. </li><li>They may be assigned various supply, service or capital category responsibilities that can change over time. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel. Internet navigation and ordering. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Associates degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. </li><li>A minimum of two years of purchasing experience is required. </li></ul> <p>Patient Contact</p> <p>Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skills in providing appropriate care/contact for patients in the following age groups:</p> <p>__ Neonate (0 thru 30 days)</p> <p>__ Infant (31 thru 12 months)</p> <p>__ Child (13 months thru 12 years)</p> <p>__ Adolescent (13 years thru 17 years)</p> <p>__ Adult (18 years thru 65 years)</p> <p>__ Geriatric (66+ years)</p> <p>X Performance of job does not require patient contact</p> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>Sedentary - Light Work - Lifting up to 15 pounds on an infrequent basis (less than one lift every three minutes). While work is mostly done sitting, a certain amount of walking or standing is often necessary.</p> <p>Ergonomic Risk Factors:</p> <p>Repetition: Repeating the same motion over and over again places stress on the muscles and tendons. The severity of risk depends on how often the action is repeated, the speed of the movement, the required force and muscles involved.</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Risk: Category C - NO exposure to blood or body fluids. </li></ul> <p>Reporting Relationship:</p> <p>Reports to Manager Strategic Sourcing</p> <p>Caring for you as you care for the CommUNITY</p> <p>Frederick Health offers a comprehensive and affordable benefits package. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.</p> <p>Hourly range: $20.25 - $27.91</p>
