<p>Dental Assistant - Temp</p> <p>(Up to 40 hours/week)</p> <p>Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center covering a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Putnam and Norwich. We are expanding our team and welcome Dental Assistants to join our dedicated staff. As a Dental Assistant with Generations, you have the opportunity to support dental care for patients of all ages.</p> <p>Dental Locations: Willimantic & Putnam, CT</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES: The Dental Assistant will:</p> <ul> <li>assist with coordination of patient flow </li><li>prepare patients for examination and procedures </li><li>Responsible for chair-side assistance during examination and treatment of patients (e.g., performing four-handed dentistry, evacuation, retracing, mixing material and exchanging instruments) </li><li>Responsible for cleaning and sterilizing dental equipment </li><li>keeping inventory of dental supplies </li><li>some administrative functions, such as filing of lab reports/lab tracking and scanning, contacting patients regarding appointments </li></ul>
