The right candidate will have a continous process improvement (5S) mindset.</p> <p>How you create impact</p> <ul> <li>Oversee Daily Warehouse Operations </li></ul> <p>Supervise inbound receiving, outbound picking/packing/staging, accurate documentation, FIFO execution, and adherence to SOPs while ensuring productivity and workflow efficiency.</p> <ul> <li>Ensure Safety, Security & Compliance </li></ul> <p>Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA, MSDS, and K+N QHSE standards; maintain physical security; conduct safety monitoring; and uphold high-value, high-security handling requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Manage & Develop Warehouse Staff </li></ul> <p>Assign work effectively, manage schedules in a 24/7 environment, lead daily meetings, train associates, support continuous development, and maintain an employee-centered, union-free workplace.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain Equipment, Inventory & Facility Standards </li></ul> <p>Ensure safe operation of material-handling equipment, maintain clean and organized work areas, uphold process/housekeeping standards, and safeguard inventory accuracy through proper processes and physical counts.</p> <ul> <li>Support Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence </li></ul> <p>Collaborate with Warehouse Management to drive lean initiatives, improve productivity, optimize workforce planning, and implement/monitor operational, quality, and service goals.</p> <ul> <li>Reporting, Documentation & Special Projects </li></ul> <p>Complete required records and reports accurately and on time, support warehouse audits, and assist with special projects to sustain strong internal and external customer service.</p> <p>What we would like you to bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>5+ years of warehousing experience </li><li>3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution environment </li><li>1+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Improvement </li><li>Knowledge of various production and quality systems </li><li>Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you</p> <p>At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues.
