<p>Production Supervisor Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership role model in terms of professional behaviors and personal accountability. </li><li>Promotes a safe work environment. </li><li>Follow production and control standards. </li><li>Promote good personal relations. </li><li>Ensure production of quality parts at the lowest possible cost while adhering to production standards. </li><li>Coordinate with other areas to meet goals. </li><li>Ensure equipment is in properly working order. </li><li>Provide accurate and timely information of performance administrative work. </li><li>Meet long and short-range plans. </li><li>Ensure materials and supplies are available when required to execute daily plans. </li><li>Act as a positive role model and act as mentor and coach to assigned production staff. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized work environment. Follow, enforce and support 5S principles. </li><li>Assign and execute daily and weekly production schedule. </li><li>Re-enforce adherence to standards (QCPs, policies and procedures, etc.) through coaching and routine follow up. </li><li>Ensure safe, high-quality, cost-efficient performance of work. </li><li>Ensure staff receives adequate training for the operations assigned to them. </li><li>Complete Corrective Actions to improve area. </li><li>Communicate/document with employees on performance; assist employees in achieving performance expectations. </li><li>Perform midyear & annual employee performance reviews. </li><li>Ensures company policies and procedures are followed </li><li>Provide accurate and timely performance feedback to management. </li><li>Score favorably in compliance audits of MOS Overall Utilization Assessment. </li><li>Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements. </li><li>Resolve performance/disciplinary issues with employees in coordination with the Human Resources. </li><li>Follow MOS Principals supplied by management. </li></ul> <p>The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for thisposition are:</p> <ul> <li>Interaction with Customers as needed. </li><li>Document travelers after operations are performed. </li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Strong computer skills; including Excel, PowerPoint etc. </li><li>Problem solving and organizational skills </li><li>Practical knowledge of aircraft components, machining, welding, inspection and related disciplines. </li><li>Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability </li><li>Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt preferred </li><li>Team building skills </li><li>Position must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate within 2-4 months of employment or have the credentials i.e. A&P license so they are able to supervise any maintenance activity. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) </li><li>Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred; </li><li>Four (4) years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience </li></ul>
