<p>Description & Requirements</p> <p>The Assurance team delivers independent, objective services that bring transparency and confidence to financial reporting. With deep industry knowledge and a proactive, communicative approach, we help clients navigate complex reporting requirements.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Perform detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts </li><li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and the identification of discrepancies or risks </li><li>Deliver exceptional client service that exceeds expectations through timely, unmatched support while cultivating strong relationships as a trusted advisor and partner in their success </li><li>Collaborate proactively with key client management to identify issues and recommend practical solutions. </li><li>Take ownership of assigned tasks by organizing workflows, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion within budget and scope to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes </li><li>Utilize technology tools effectively and demonstrate a commitment to process improvement through innovation. </li><li>Complete Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements to maintain technical proficiency and industry knowledge </li><li>Support the proposal process for prospective clients by contributing insights and helping articulate the firm's capabilities and areas of expertise. </li><li>Collaborate on Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical publications and contribute to internal learning and development sessions to share knowledge and foster team growth </li><li>Represent the firm at campus recruiting events, engaging with top-tier university talent to promote the company's brand, share career opportunities, and support early talent acquisition initiative </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field </li><li>2+ years of relevant audit experience </li><li>Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam, meeting the educational requirements as defined by the applicable state board of accountancy. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Ability to work a hybrid schedule, typically averaging three days per week in the assigned office </li><li>Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.
